Here is a recipe for spicy Indian fish fry that is not only tasty but also has healthy super foods garlic and ginger.
While you are preparing the masala, you can soak the fish pieces in turmeric. So wash the fish pieces and then rub turmeric powder on them. Fish can also be defrosted by soaking in turmeric water. In addition to being a germicide, turmeric also reduces the fish smell.
Peel ginger and garlic.
You can grind them or shred them and squeeze out the ginger’s juice. Shredded garlic can be used as such.
Mix the ginger and garlic with salt, chili powder and half teaspoon turmeric powder and make a paste.
Wash the fish pieces and and spread the masala paste on them. Using a fork, poke the fish pieces a few times gently. This will make the masala taste go inside.
After 15 to 20 minutes, you can fry the fish pieces. You can shallow fry on a skillet or deep fry by simply using more oil.
Cook in medium heat and when the fish pieces are cooked, place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Tasty masala fish fry is ready.
