This is a simple fun activity that I did with my daughter to teach her various shapes.
Cut black and white paper into the following shapes – Square, Triangle, Circle, Heart and Rectangle. Make the white paper smaller than the black paper. Then cut orange beaks and feet for the penguin.
Glue the parts of the penguin
And there you have a square, a rectangular, a circular, an oval and a heart shaped penguin. Don’t forget to write the shapes on the penguins so that it will get imprinted in your kid’s mind.
Every day objects to learn about shapes, sizes and diameter / radius
Learning becomes useful only when it is applied to everyday life. I like to include everyday objects in learning activities.
For this, I chose circles of different diameters to introduce words like radius and diameter.
Can something interesting come out of these circles? How about a circle penguin? Tada
