This tutorial shows how you can stitch the Hungarian diamond stitch. This needlepoint stitch is very similar to the diamond stitch except for one small difference.
Here is how diamond stitch looks like.
They look similar, don’t they? In diamond stitch, the diamonds are separate units and don’t share stitches with diamonds on their left and right.
Let’s get started. Start making straight stitches as shown below.
Note: There is no gap between the two diamonds and the two diamonds are sharing a stitch. This is the difference between diamond stitch and Hungarian diamond stitch.
This stitch looks good when more than one color is used.
