This is a very easy method to make cute finger puppets for children with materials readily available at home.
Things needed
New rubber gloves
Marker
Some yarn
Glue
Fabric or color paper
Method
Cut the fingers of the rubber gloves.
Draw the face. Glue googly eyes if you have them. You may choose to draw the face first before cutting them if you feel that it will be easier to draw like that. Or you could wear the gloves and make your kid draw the faces.
Make dresses for the characters with paper or fabric.
Get thread or yarn ready for hair
Glue dress and hair. We used fevicol and it dried pretty fast. This project takes about 30 minutes for a 5 year old kid and it is better to use a quick drying glue to keep their interest till the project is done. ;)
The classic denim skirt that never goes out of style. Super cute ain’t it?
Cool gal with pink dyed hair wearing her shimmery party frock. Its party time baby.
Ponytail on a gal with simple plaid summer frock.
Biker chick with head scarf and overalls
Every gal needs that little black dress and should experiment with fringe :D
Puppets are ready
Play time – For the next few days, my daughter was talking in different voices (unique for each character) while playing with them :) . The biker chick was given a gruff voice and the pink haired girl was all girly girly … generalizations galore :)
